Band Trip Tomorrow.

I am totally looking forward to the ten to eleven hour drive tomorrow...not. I am, however, extremely thrilled about going to Bush Gardens on Saturday. It should be really awesome, a wonderful experience.

You know that you have some problems when people start quoting you when you speak. My friends have even started to write down stupid stuff that we all say. Ah well.

Today while running around the track at school, I decided to see if I could jump over the hurdles. I could jump over the smallest ones, but the rest, well, let's just say it was an epic failure. Stupid short legs. It was fun trying though.

Question of the Day: Who do men and women's shirts button on different sides?
  • According to legend, women button right over left because in medieval times they were dressed by their right handed maids.
  • Mens are on the right side because it is easier to button that way for right handed people.

Simple answers. There are more reasons, so look at the link below to find out more.

Story of the Day: A town in Tennessee elected a dead man as their mayor. The city concil will have to appoint a new mayor to run their city. The story is really short, so I encourage you to read it.

MLIA of the Day: "Today, I learned taht a lady once said to Winston Churchill, 'If you were my husband, I'd poison your tea.' He replied, 'And if you were my wife, I'd drink it.' I wish more people insulted like that nowadays. MLIA"

Sorry this was a little rushed, I am supposed to be going to bed right now. See you all in a few days.

Almost....maybe...an important event.

*Whistling devilishly* There is nothing going on, say, tomorrow...nooo. Absolutely not. End of story.

*Clearing my throat* Yeah, okay. Now that we've cleared up that fact, on with the post. Since there is nothing to report, except the trip at the end of the week, and I should be doing homework right now, onward!

Question of the Day: What are the six ways to get to first base without hitting the ball?
1.) A walk.
2.) Hit by a pitch.
3.) Dropped third strike.
4.) Catcher's interference.
5.) If the ball thrown goes into the stands, a player's bench, or touched by a spectator.
6.) If the ball gets lodged in any part of the catchers apparatus.

Just in case you were wondering. Personally, I would want to see the last one. It would be pretty hilarious.

Story of the Day: It's A Miracle!

A mother decided to stop her son's medicine after he was stabbed in the head with a screw driver. Everyone thought he was going to die, but he miraculously got better, and is now on his way to recovery. He can breathe on his own, and talk, when before he was in a coma. Amazing!

MLIA of the Day: "Today, while visiting my brother in New York City, I saw a bus pass us with an ad on the side 'Would you like to learn English? Call This Number!' I was wondering if you do not know english, how could you read the sign? MLIA"

Some people can be so stupid. At least the rest of us can have some good laughs at their expense!

It's a Beautiful Day!

I love the spring. Period. It has the best weather, and just the turn from bare winter to beautiful blossums is enough to lift almost anyone's spirits.

It is crunch time at school, where everyone is picking courses, working on projects and finalizing grades. I am absoluely exausted, but in high spirits, for I'm looking forward to the Virginia Beach Trip, which will be awesome.

Question of the Day: What is the origin of "side kick"?
It was originally the nickname for the side pocket in pants, but some poet compared it to a close companion. By 1920, it meant friend.

Story of the Day: British Prisons Help Prisoners Relapse Before Entering Society
This is the stupidest idea...ever. Their logic is that they think they will relapse soon anyway, so they just help them along. It is supposed to prevent drug overdoses, but I don't see how this will help the prisoners succeed in society. What if they really did change, and didn't want to be drugged up before release? Ridiculous.

MLIA of the Day: "Today, my science teacher, who is brilliant and has a marvelously twisted sense of humor, took a small sheet of paper, wrote on one side 'turn over' and did the same on the other side. He gave this paper to one of the girls in the class, and she sat there fro about twenty minutes, turning it back and forth going, 'I DON'T GET IT!' MLIA"

Wow...I know a couple of people who would fall for that. Bye, cause I am going outside!
