At the Lake!

So far, aside from the rain, I have had a ton of fun here at the lake house. Fishing, boating, swimming (well, at least not the swimming part yet because the wealther is so horrible), and much more fun stuff to do. There are a bunch of kids that will be coming up to stay around here, like the 15 year old boy next door and the 13 year old girl across the street, and my cousins that are coming will make it even more fun. More information about my fun expirences to come.

First one to tell, I almost drowned my uncle, NOT on purpose though. I was pulling his kyak up on the beach and pulled a little too hard and he fell in. He got to the be the first one to go swimming though. :-)

Also, the news for the day kind of ties into the news from yesterday. Appenently Billy Mayes, (if you don't know who he is, he is the Oxy Clean Guy that yells alot) died too. He is the third, maybe even forth or fifth celebrity that has died this week. What is with this?? Some girl that I don't know died, then Jackson, and now the "Oxy Clean" guy!!!! Is the world trying to be rid of all these strange people. Well, think about it. Michael Jackson was just disturbed, just read his life story and you will understand what I mean. Billy Mayes was just plain annoying. And you know what is weird, they both died at 50!! Who will be next? Okay, I'm done with my rant now. Michael Jackson....Dead!!!!

Hello everyone. I haven't posted because of the business of the first week of summer vacation. I have been helping Mary Jo (my aunt for those of you who don't know) with her kids, Molly and Richy, 3 year old twins, and Timmy, a 1 year old. Speaking of which, I am going with her to go and give the kids their haircuts. This is very exciting because it will be Timmy's first one!!!!

Tomorrow we are going to the lake! Hopefully the weather will improve before we leave, because I am sick of the rain. How can we enjoy the lake house when we are stuck inside for the entire week. Oh well. Maybe things will turn out okay for us.

Story of the day, Michael Jackson is dead! Supposively, he died in cardic arrest. The world is morning his dealth, though I'm not because I am sure that he did molest those kids, even though he was aqquited from the charges. Imaginary?

Going on the Freedom Trail was actually much better than I thought it was going to be. Mrs. Cassidy just gave one of us the map and said, go where ever you want. We went to Dunkin Donuts and a bunch of other shops, and half the time we weren't even on the Freedom Trail (over-exaggerating).

The semi was fun too, I don't think there was a single moment that we were standing still, except to take pictures!!! Fun week has been truely fun so far.

This story is so amazing you might think is imaginary. You HAVE to feel sorry for this puppy. You know that some kids think that they can get their pets clean by putting them in the toliet and flushing...well, the puppy was a little small. Yes, he did get flushed down the pipes, but he got stuck. Luckily, he was right below a manhole in the street so the rescurers could dig down and get him out. Now he is clean and unhurt, and all is well. No more will that little boy want to give his dog a bath. Here is the link: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/us_world/2009/06/16/2009-06-16_puppy_.html

What a Note!

Hello everyone! Today I went to get my nails done for semi, which was fun. It is so weird that the end of the year is just this week! Soon we will be in high school, scary...

What would you do if you missed school to see the president? Well, get a note of course! This girl named Kennedy went with her father on the last day of school to see the president speak and was worried about getting into trouble. When her father stood up to ask a question, and mentioned Kennedy, the president, in all seriousness, said that he would give her a note. With everyone watching, he wrote it down on part of his papers and give it to her personally. What would you do if that was you?? Amazing. Aieta (if that is how you spell it)

I am going to go to the high school show, Aieta tonight. It should be AMAZING, like most of the high school work is. I am going with Allison and Amber, so we should have a great time.

I can't believe that finally, we are done learning in our eighth grade year. Not that we actually learned anything today, because we were just doing stuff that was fun, most of it. I loved Ms. Ferreira's goodbye speeches. They make everyone feel so specail, and that is a great thing to do.

Good news today: Red Sox are 8-0 against the yankees with their 4-3 win against them yesterday. Isn't that great?! This is the first time they have done this since 1912! Read this article to learn more: http://www.lowellsun.com/ci_12575534. Hopefully there will be many more wins to come.

A New World Record!

Hello everyone. I can't believe this is our last day of school! (Well, the actual learning school anyway. All the quizzes are done, all notes behind us, and we are ready to move on to high school. Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!! Sorry. The reality just hit me. Oh well.

Any way, the story for the day. I was looking around and thought, hey, why not get some news about kids in the area. While looking, I found a story about some baseball and softball players that played a game for a record 36 hours!! It was really a match up of different teams succeeding eachother about every hour. The score was 290 to 272, amazing! Read all about it at: http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_news/2009/06/wrentham_kids_t_1.html.

I bet most of you already know about Adam, yes the one on American Idol, being gay. So, I don't feel like talking about that, because we all already knew, so I think I am done for the day. See you tomorrow!

Tyngsborough in the news!

I was looking around the internet for some interesting news to share with you, and I found this link! Here, for our small little town's 200th birthday, Mike Knight is the parade marshal. Listen to what he has to say about his job: http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid13105315001?bclid=1612721902&bctid=25801376001

Here is the homework:
  1. Science: Study those fish! Make sure you also finish, or start if you are like me, the paper on the fish restoration project.

If you are interested in the history of how Tyngsborough got its name, and seeing an actor who protrays the actual Mr. Tyng, read this article. This man put the Tyng in Tyngsboro!

Tomorrow, I promise won't be about Tyngsborough. I'll find something else to talk about.

Tom Sawyer Conclusion.

Hello everyone! See, I am getting used to this blogging thingy again. I have a bunch of stuff to talk about, so stay tuned.

First, the homework:
  1. ELA: Finish up, or start, if you are in my class, the Tom Sawyer Analisis. I can't believe that she still expects my class to do it by tomorrow, even though she just told us about it today. At least she didn't make us do the test today. Luckily, the laptops stoped working as soon as she was going to make us take it.
  2. Science: Study those fish!

Well, you are probally wondering what, study those fish means. In science, because he has nothing left to teach us, he is teaching us to identify 10 spieces of fish that are local around the area. It was interesting, but is smelled A LOT!! I feel sorry for Lizzie, who had to sit right next to the jars.

One scandal to mention: after one of the concerts at Fenway, someone brought in weed. NO, not the kind you are thinking of, grass seed. Except it wasn't a normal type of grass seed, no, it was YANKEE grass seed. They accidently planted it in front of the red soxs' dug out, so hopefully, nothing will come of it, if you believe. Here is a link if you want to read more: http://www.sportsofboston.com/2009/06/09/yankees-fan-plants-grass-seed-in-fenway-park/

Oooooo... I wonder what more interesting stuff will come up ahead. Be sure to check out the Bicentenial on Saturday. Will mention more about that tomorrow or sometime later. Hopefully will post tomorrow.

Back at the end of the school year!

I am soo sorry that I haven't written in such a long time! The past few months have been unbelievable busy, and this past week is the first time I have gone home on the bus because of all the activities.

Here is the homework:
  1. Math: page blah blah blah. Problems #10-22. That is just what I remember off the top of my head. Last chapter of the book!!! Wahoo!!
  2. ELA: Oh My! The Adventures of Tom Sawyer test is tomorrow. Study up! Also, write your speech for the graduation. Good luck in winning the competition! Try and finish your notes if you haven't already. Something is due Wednesday, but she didn't tell my class, so I can't tell you what it is.

It was weird not going to band today, but instead we went outside and monitored the logic challenge. I had to replace Chelsea in it because the teams were unfairly matched, so that was interesting.

I really don't want to learn how to identify fish. I don't mind learning it, but I would much rather learn something that I am totally interested in that is still related to science. But that is okay.

It is weird having nothing to do after school. It's not that I am saying that that is a bad thing, it is just different from what I am used to doing.
